Hi Everyone,

We wanted to personally introduce ourselves to you, we are Darren and Shamakia Williams, owners of DSW Photography. We are a luxury international wedding photography team. Our passion is photographing weddings and amazing couples. We have been married since April 2010 and have four beautiful children together. We consider ourselves a close-knit family; our daughters Ayana, Amya, Aaliyah, and Lauryn are full of personalities. Our home shares daily laughs, jokes, lessons and most of all love. Our lives are truly a blessing with our children a part of it. 

We would consider our photography style as Fine Art, Clean, & Editorial. Our style is a mashup of Darren’s edgy style and Shamakia’s classic style combined. 

 

The moment we realized photography was something worth pursuing. Prior to photography, Darren worked in the legal field for 12 years and Shamakia worked in the education field for 10 years. We fell in love with photography, while vacationing with our family in Florida. Shamakia was already in college for photography and Darren was a hobbyist. Once we started taking photos the rest was history. Fast forward, we have had the opportunity to work alongside amazing wedding vendors, publications, and AMAZING couples. Being able to document a couple’s love story is truly a great accomplishment of our career.
