Shamakia & Darren Williams

Our own journey into photography started with love, as all incredible journeys should. We married in April of 2010, and together with our four beautiful daughters, we form an incredibly tight-knit family. For over a decade, each of our careers were in completely different industries but a love for photography had always been there, slow-burning towards the surface.

Darren was already a hobbyist and Shamakia was attending college for photography, but it was a family vacation in Florida that ignited the flame. Documenting that trip -- the girls, the love, the moments – truly set us on a different path.

Now, we consider ourselves exceptionally fortunate to be able to document the love stories of others as an international husband and wife team. The amazing couples we serve, as well as the vendors and publications we work alongside, in New Orleans and beyond, are the fuel that keeps us lit.
